Young Minds Learn “Why do we do the good?”
The Chesterton Academy of Saint Finbar hosted their second Theology Night for 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Graders at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist Parish Hall.
Stella Maris Deacon Jason Vaughan led the interactive discussion on the topic of “Why do we do the good?”
The young minds learned about the definitions of freedom and law and the relationship between the two. Students also had the opportunity to interact with their peers through a decision making process and gave speeches on their results to the others attending.
A snowball networking icebreaker was also held during this eventful evening.

The Chesterton Academy of Saint Finbar recently hosted their second Philosophy Night for 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Graders at the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist Parish Hall.
Chesterton Academy of Saint Finbar Head of School Michele McCoy led the interactive discussion on the topic of “What is the good?” and “Can we do the good?” The young minds learned about the different levels of philosophical thinking and had the opportunity to interactive with their peers through a decision making process.
A bingo networking icebreaker was also held during this eventful evening.

Our third Parents' Night last night was a success! A brief overview was given by Board Member Dr. Laura Camacho and our Head of School Michele McCoy as well as a tour of the facilities on site. Stay tuned for our last Parent Night on February 21st.
